I thought it would be pretty cool to get know the members a little more, by asking them what they would like to be when they grow up. If you're already "Grown Up" tell us what you do if you like it and what you do at that career.
I'll Start-
I'm currently in school. I am attending a college course called, Electrical Lineworker Apprentice Program. It teaches you how to work on power lines, change out transformers, climb power poles with only spikes, and lots of other stuff concerning Power Lines.
What I hope to be is a Lineman for the power company in my state. Since I live in Georgia. The power company I would LOVE to work for is...Georgia Power.
That's mine. I hope to see lots more

I grew up in a small village in mexico at the age of 10, until drug dealers raided the village so i had to run from home and be separated from family. I swam through the river to get to the states i dodged being eaten from alligators and lions soon after i passed out by the shore and was found by a a mexican family which adopted me and named me wolfgang. I now live in south cali with my new family ever since and they have taught me how to sell drugs and shoot guns I make delicious meals like rice and beans and also rice and beans with tortillas and thats about it. I finally made enough money helping people cross the border safely and bought me a decent computer and decided to buy css and here is where I am at now I travel to mexico still helping people cross I am very good at it. I go to ITT tech trying to be an engineer in something whatever i can be but I'm known as the mexican of the clan ehh but yeah thats my story bleh... here is a picture of my village....

Abandoned at the age of one, I was left to be raised by a pack of wolverines. They treated me as their own, and taught me to hunt and survive in the wild. When I turned 6, I had outlived my family in the wild, and was left on my own, having to fend for myself. I trekked south from the frozen tundra, until I wound up somewhere in the Himalayas. I tunneled deep in to the mountain and made my home there for roughly 6 years, until on one fateful day, a man dressed in white came to me in my cave. He came equipped with a mighty staff, long robes, and a tall pointy hat. As he walked into my den, a strange light emanated from him as he came into view. Once I saw him, I knew at once who he was. "You must be Tom the wizard!" I exclaimed. The strange man only smiled and held out his hand, beckoning for me to come forth. We walked together out of his cave and saddled up on his flying horse named Gustavo. The next few weeks were spent flying across the country, making our way around the continent of Asia, until one fateful day our adventures were abruptly halted. Tom and I were sailing high above the Gobi desert when a group of marauders, perched atop a tall dune, shot down Gustavo with their primitive bows and spears. Tom and I went down, and the marauders held us captive. They barely fed us and treated us poorly. A few days into our captivity, we were nearing expiration, but then we were saved. A mysterious dude wearing a turban, and riding a camel came galloping in wielding a long scimitar, ready to fuck shit up. He engaged the marauders in epic combat surf, and pwned them hardcore, because thankfully the Gobi desert is quite similar to bigloop. After our hero defeated all of your captors, he introduced him self as Steveo. Steveo Tom and I became pals, and went on to play CSS together and have fun times surfing. Oh and then we met some fag named ninjamario too.
So thats my story guys, I hope you enjoy, 100% true. No foolin.

Now this is a story all about how My life got flipped-turned upside down And I liked to take a minute just sit right there And tell you how I became the prince of a town called Bel-Air
In west Philadelphia born and raised On the playground is where I spent most of my days Chillin out, maxin, relaxing all cool, And all shooting some b-ball outside of school When a couple of guys who were up to no good Started making trouble in my neighborhood I got in one lil fight and my mom got scared And said "You're moving with your auntie and uncle in Bel-Air" I Begged and pleaded with her day after day, But she packed my suitcase and sent me on my way She gave me a kiss and then she gave me my ticket I put my walkman on and said I might as well kick it
First class yo this is bad Drinking orange juice out of a champaine glass Is this what the people of Bel-Air living like? Hmm this might be allright But wait I hear prissy, bourgeois and all that Is this the type of place they should send this cool cat I don't think, I'll see when I get there I hope they're prepared for the prince of Bel-Air Well ah the plain landed and when I came out There was a dude that looked like a cop standing there with my name out I aint trying to get arrested yet I just got here I sprang with the quickness like lightning dissapeared I whistled for a cab and when it came near The license plate said FRESH and it had dice in the mirror If anything I can say this cab was rare But I thought naw forget it yo homes to Bel-Air
I pulled up to the house about 7 or 8 And I yelled to the cabby "Yo homes smell ya later" I looked at my kingdom I was finally there To sit on my throne as the Prince of Bel Air

A long, long time ago in a galaxy far, far away there were two people: a male and a female. These two folks had some love making sessions, and something happened during one of them. 8 moths after it happened, a baby was born. The problem was, this baby never ever stopped crying. Even when the parents gave him ice cream. So they got really sick of this baby, and the dad punted him super dooper hard. The dad was a world famous soccer goalie on their small, unknown planet of Kapitaph. He didn't mean to punt him as hard as he did, but it still happened. The baby flew into outer space and later landed on a planet called Earth. The military was tracking this baby from space because they weren't sure what it was, so when he landed, they studied him. When he was 17, he escaped from the facility because he's super awesome and super fast. The military sent helicopters, jets, and tanks to look for the person, but they never found him. He had to hide in some random family's house. The home owners took the kid in and raised him. They made epic meals that tasted delicious. They had a computer with CSS. He pwned it.
this story isnt about me.

I went to school for an Degree in software engineering. I graduated last September and got my first job in the field last November. I am currently a server admin/webmaster/software engineer/tech support guy at a local collection agency (www.rrcinc.com). On a day to day basis, I make sure the server runs smooth, query any data that someone may need, code for the website (currently in a big project), fix the collectors computers when they break, and run SQL queries to load new data into the server so the collectors can work the new accounts.
If you really like computers I would DEFINITELY suggest getting into the field. There are endless things you can do with a computer science degree. Technology grows exponentially so there will always be a need for someone to work it. As far as software engineering goes, its difficult to find a job doing just programming. And the worst part is most of the jobs are 6 months to a year contract jobs. So, there is no guarantee you will have/can get a job after your contract is up.
It basically comes down to finding something you really enjoy doing, making sure you can actually make money doing it, get the education you need, and getting a job where you enjoy going to work because your work is your hobby.

I was going to go into Computer Science, but something changed my mind about. I really don't know why it did either. I still LOVE computers and wish i knew how to code. Maybe one day I actually might go and get that degree. BTW what college did you graduate from, and is it a B.D.?
